We are not beer drinkers but I saw a beer sampler go by that I know we would have tried if our extended family was there to sample it with us. It was at a decent volume to where you could hear it but still enjoy dinner conversation.Dining during COVID is an experience unto itself and I noted that all staff were wearing the masks appropriately at all times and tables were being cleaned and sanitized between guests. Despite it being a Tuesday night, there was live music with a man skillfully playing the accordion.

The soft pretzel I was told is made in house and was soft and chewy. The dinner portions were large so we have more to enjoy tomorrow. The spatzel was good but even better mixed with gravy. The sausages I sampled were good as was the pork schnitzel. The Viennese Gulash was tender and the sauce was delicious. Our party each ordered different dishes and a side order pretzel. The restaurant had many tables and outside dining available. We arrived at about 5:30pm on a Tuesday and were immediately seated.

This place is so charming.We felt very safe, as they followed all protocols,social distanced & wore masks, plus this place was spotlessly clean! We are are so happy we chose to give it a try, highly recommend it, & will definitely be returning on any future trips! Not sure what more I can say, just go there! We were visiting the area on vacation, & definitely concerned about Covid risk, so we chose this restaurant based on their outside dining option & their reviews. Don't skip dessert! The apple strudel & chocolate apricot torte cake were both wonderful too!The service was great, very attentive server, owner very friendly ,checked on us & chatted. I liked the red cabbage, it was very fresh & not too sweet! Even the mini loaves of fresh bread were fresh baked ,warm & crispy. The potato dumplings were phenomenal, as were the spaetzels &potato pancakes. Ranked 22 of 892 Restaurants in Myrtle Beach. Absolutely superb! The best German/ Austrian food we have ever eaten! We have dined in German food restaurants many times in our hometown of Pgh, Cleveland, Florida, Canada, & basically anywhere we have ever traveled! This was hands down the best ever!We started with their warm soft pretzel with horseradish sauce,delicious!
